Armenian-born southpaw, WBA and WBC super flyweight (115 pounds) champion Vic Darchinyan of Austraila, scored a unanimous and lopsided, 12-round unanimous decision over over Rodrigo Guerrero at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
In victory, the 34-year-old Darchinyan improved to 34-2-1, with 27 knockouts, and, 6-1-1, with five knockouts since suffering a July 2007 fifth-round knockout loss to Nonito Donaire, whom he would like to fight next.
