WBC light heavyweight (175 pounds) champion, Jean Pascal, of Canada, is expected to defend his crown against WBC interim titlist, Chad Dawson, of Connecticut, on Aug. 14 in an HBO-televised matchup of gifted 27-year-olds, from the Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Dawson’s promoter, Gary Shaw, told FanHouse.
Pascal (25-1, 16 knockouts) will return to the site where he made the successful second defense of his title in December in a unanimous decision over fellow Canadian Adrian Diaconu.
