Former two-time world champion Jorge Linares (28-1, 18 knockouts) was looking for his seventh consecutive knockout victory before, himself, being stopped in the first round of his last fight by Juan Carlos Salgado.

In an HBO pay per view televised bout on Saturday night from the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Linares (pictured at right, on the left) will go after his second straight win against Rocky Juarez (28-6-1, 20 KOs). During a recent workout at the Fortune Gym in Los Angeles, Linares discussed the upcoming bout. Linares is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.
