In this video, the 36-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez (50-5-1, 37 knockouts) is training at the Fortune Gym in Los Angeles for Saturday night’s HBO pay per view televised rematch with 26-year-old Juan Diaz (35-3, 17 KOs), whom Marquez knocked out in the ninth round of their February, 2009, Fight of the Year.

Asked to compare Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, Marquez said Mayweather is much faster, but that Pacquiao hits harder. Marquez, who is defending his WBO and WBA lightweight (135 pounds) titles, is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

If he defeats Diaz, Marquez hopes to challenge WBA junior welterweight (140 pounds) champion, Amir Khan (23-1, 17 KOs) in an effort to become the first Mexican fighter to earn four titles in as many different weight classes.
