When WBO welterweight (147 pounds) champ Manny Pacquiao was mobbed by fans as he arrived from the Philppines in Los Angeles late Monday night, FanHouse was there.
FanHouse caught up to Pacquiao’s adviser, Michael Koncz, to discuss the negotiations for the fighter’s upcoming HBO pay per view televised, Nov. 13 clash with ex-champ Antonio Margarito slated for the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
Pacquiao-Margarito, promoted by Top Rank Promotions, will be for the vacant WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) crown, affording Pacquiao the opportunity to pursue an eighth title in as many different weight classes.
Pacquiao’s arrival is the start of a three-city press tour that will find him in Los Angeles on Tuesday, New York on Wednesday, and, in Dallas on Friday.
